This summer, Global Soccer Solutions presents it's ‘Kicks 4 Kids’ Training Camp Program providing a series of week-long camps throughout the El Dorado County.   

In association with the El Dorado Youth Soccer League (EDYSL) Academy

These 5 day programs are open to players who wish to enhance their playing ability through a series of enjoyable technical and tactical sessions which cover all aspects of the game before finishing the day with a small sided tournament.  Camp benefits include certificate of attendance, player evaluation and camp t-shirt.

:: Starter Challenge

Age Range: 5 and 6 year olds.
Length of Camp: 3 hrs a day with 2x15 min breaks. Five days. Early drop-off/late pick-up.
Outline: Soccer-Specific Fun Games based on a daily
Technical Theme
Content:

Including “The Soccer Olympics
Gold Medals to be awarded in the following events:

Sprint (Dribbling Race with Ball)
Relay (Team Dribbling Race with Ball)
Hurdles

(Pass through gate and jump over)

Archery (Pass to circled target, inner ring = most
points)
Ten Pin Bowling (Shoot to knock over pins/balls)

Example Itinerary:

9am – 9.45am: Movement Education/Ball Familiarity
9.45am – 10am: Break 1 (Learning through Soccer)
10am – 11am:

Soccer Games related to Daily Topic

11am – 11.15am: Break 2 (Snack Break)
11.15am – 12pm: World Cup Scrimmages & Soccer Olympics
12pm – 12.30pm: Pick Up

:: Soccer Skills Challenge

Age Range: 7 to 14 year olds.
Length of Camp: 3 hrs a day with 20 min break. Five days. Early drop-off/late pick-up.
Outline: Technical Skills Training Camp
Content:

Including The Academy Soccer Skills Challenge, New feature throughout the Academy where the player is assessed on the 4 Pillars throughout the week:
Dribbling, Passing, Receiving, Shooting
Take part in a challenge specific to each of these (Age
Appropriate)
Players attempt to pass each challenge
Camp Evaluation/Feedback based on performance
